We are requesting your financial support in reaching our goal of helping 200 patients annually.

We are providing “Gift Tote Bags” to patients who have been discharged from City of Hope. Our intention is to relieve the stress that 100 days of isolation bestows upon the patient and to ease the strains of everyday life so the patient can successfully focus all their energy on healing.

How will your donations be used:
|
The gift bag contains face masks, gloves, movies, a $300 grocery store gift card, a $150 Visa gift card, hand soaps, antibacterial wipes, cutting boards, and signs for the patient to hang reminding guests to wash their hands and remove their shoes, a total cost of $500.

On January 31, 2008 I received my transplant.
When I opened the gift bag I cried, because a stranger had the heart and foresite to help someone else. It has made my transition out of the hospital a lot easier. I just wanted to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for the gift bag.
